The journey for me is from my head to my heart.

I am a family physician with personal and professional interest in mental health care.

Raised by immigrant parents who were traumatized as refugees in their own country, emotions were a subject I do not recall ever being discussed.

My inner journey begun when my youngest daughter went off to university; it begun when I said yes to myself; to say yes to the challenge of looking for the root cause of physical and mental health challenges. Since then, I have learned so much from my patients. I feel deeply grateful to them for my growing awareness. As a part of this precious journey from my head to my heart, Inward Expeditions is formed.
